Spring Mission Trip to San Francisco!
In December over 100 women and children experienced a taste of what serving can look like.
We had a great time getting exposed to the needs of those on the streets and helping with the needs here at the Salinas Elementary School level.
We provided what was estimated to be over $3500 in jackets to the homeless of Salinas. Cheryl Camany the director of the project to the homeless
families of Salinas was so grateful as she watched entire families pick up a jacket or sweatshirt for the winter.
She has never been able to provide items to the family as a whole like this and she was blown away by the generosity of women in our church.
Well we will once again do this for the spring needs of the homeless and poor.
Saturday May 18th we will return to San Francisco to bring food and prayer to those we meet on the streets.
We will spend time serving food from the park and sitting alongside them sharing the love of Jesus with those we meet.
Leave 8:00am spend time serving 10:00-1:00pm and find time to enjoy the beauty of the city 1:00-4:30pm with a return time of 7:00pm
Cost will be $25 per person with children 8 and older $15.00.
This is a time you will never forget.
