James says pain can be a TRAP, one of life's biggest tests!
People let pain trap them:
They allow pain to control them emotionally.
Others let pain turn them bitter and angry.
Others stop living until the pain goes away.
But it may never go away.
What then?
James 1:2 says "Consider it pure joy whenever you face trials of many kinds". Is he serious? The good news is:
You can learn to turn pain into something good.
You can learn to refuse to forfeit your joy to flaky people and circumstances!
